Bungay Town Council holds a number of meetings each month to which the public are most welcome. These include Full Council Meetings and Main Committees. There are also Advisory Panels; Working Parties and Sub Committees, which are held as the need arises.

Currently Full Council meetings and committee meetings are held at the Council's Staithe Riverside Centre, located by the River and just off Staithe Road. The Riverside Centre has full disabled access.
FULL COUNCIL MEETINGS
Full Council Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month other than in August and start at 7.00 PM
Communications meeting - 6 weekly
Enviroment & Planning - first thursday of the month
Highways & Transport - 6 weekly
Grounds, Premises & Amenities - 6 weekly
Legal & Finance - ad-hoc but at least quarterly
Riverside Sub-Committee - 6 weekly.
ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
The Town Council holds an open Town Meeting each year in late April/early May, at one of the venues availabe to the Council. This is the last official Council Meeting at which the Mayor presides before the election of a new Mayor at the next Full Meeting, or the next Full Meeting following an election.
The agenda includes reports from the Mayor and a financial report from the Town Clerk and a presentation on a current topic of interest before the meeting is opened for a question and answer session with members of the public.
Notice is given of the date and place of the meeting in the local press, the Council noticeboards and on this website.
SUB-COMMITTEES, WORKING PARTIES AND ADVISORY PANELS
In addition to the above formal meetings, working parties etc are formed to report to the Council on specific issues. There is a sub-committee on the Riverside Centre and Staff/Human Resources.
