Police Report

Bungay Town Council works closely with the Police to keep Bungay safe and recieves reports on the type and number of crimes in our area over the past month.  For the most recent report click here.
We are happy that the crime rate in Bungay is very low compared with other towns in the region.
However, there has been an increase in the number of house burglaries and residents are advised to keep their property safe from opportunistic thieves.
  • Keep your doors locked and ensure property kept in sheds and outbuildings is secure.
  • Keep your car keys in a safe place - thieves will happily open a back door, grab your keys and drive off in your car, even if you are inside the house.
Remember the numbers to call:

999 for life-threatening emergencies

101 to report all other crimes
